Our products for water treatment includes energy efficient evaporators which make distilled water out of waste water, and compact biological treatments units that efficiently remove  BOD and SS from the  waste water

  • Evapo-Sep

    The Evapo-Sep is an evaporator that turns raw water into distilled water. Utilizing the thermo compression principle, it uses only 10% of the energy needed to boil water, or approx. 60 W per liter per hour. In other word not more than a light bulb! 

  • Bio-Sep

    The Bio-Sep is a biological treatment unit which removes  organic compounds (BOD) from water. It can be used as stand alone unit or in combination with the Evapo-Sep to remove BOD from the concentrate. As an anaerobic digester, it will recover the biogas from the concentrate, which in turn can be used for heating or power generation.

  • Waste Water Treatment Plants

    A complete waste water treatment plant  consisting of multiple containers was recently commissioned in Brunei. This particular plant is temporary and is designed for relocation to new sites when replaced by a permanent one.

 

Specifications

 

The Evapo-Sep comes in two standard versions, the Direct Steam heated DS unit for the smaller streams 20-200 l/hr and the Compressed Steam heated CS unit for the larger streams 200- 2000 l/hr.

The DS unit may be operated under vacuum and utilize low temperature waste heat  from diesel engines or cooling towers.

In absence of waste heat or steam, it may be electrically heated and  arranged as a single effect or multiple effect evaporator.

The CS units increases the evaporation capacity of the DS units 10 times, by returning the heat of evaporation to the raw water in a heat recovery unit.

 

The Bio-Sep units utilize the Suspended Media Bio Reactor (SMBR) system, by which the microorganisms forms a bio-film that is fixed to the surface of the bio-media.  The media itself is suspended in the water and kept inside the reactors by screens at the outlet.

The result is a reactor system with a stable biomass which is not flushed out of the reactors by the water flow. Hence it tolerates wide daily fluctuations in both hydraulic and organic load which is particularly useful for smaller systems.

The Bio-Sep unit comes in sizes from 60 to 360 m3/day, all suitable for oversea transportation in standard ISO shipping containers.

Packaged plants may consist of many containers in parallel and in series, having special functions such as screening, settling, biodegradation and clarification.

Standard effluents with 30 ppm BOD and 30 ppm TSS may be improved by increased biodegradation and additional coagulation

Tertiary treatment to qualify the effluent for reuse as technical water may be provided using membrane filtration and AC adsorption.

For irrigation, additional filtering of the effluent to avoid clogging may be sufficient.

As municipal waste water contains organic nutrients like nitrogen and phosphorous, it is in fact perfect for irrigation and will reduce cost of buying commercial fertilizer.
